Not necessarily peaking, just big boys won’t come in for little ole Bristol City players. Seem to wait till they shine for someone else then try and buy at a high price. Jude Bellingham being a prime example. They could have got him for a lot less than they were prepared to pay before Real entered the show.He was on loan at Newport County I seem to remember and doing very well there.
When he was recalled I remember thinking that the lad was out of his depth in the Championship. To me it didn’t look as if he was able to offer much.
How wrong I was - but sadly (as happens so often) he’s peaking for another club
