He was crap, mate. He was also a massive fanny and couldn’t (or wouldn’t) head a ball. Ducked under the ball instead of clearing it for Leeds’ first goal at Elland Road last season. He was that bad, Rosenior dropped him for Jacob because Jacob at least ran through brick walls for the team.
Giles got injured, I do remember that. Then just wasn’t at it at all after his injury, whilst Jacob was absolutely playing out of his skin and deserved his place in the team.
Selles could have had a five year contract but if a break clause said that they could get rid of him at the end of any season with a six month of salary pay off then it would be applicable. Does anybody think that Selles could take the club to court if that happened?
Didn't the Allam's offer Adkins a similar deal, and that's why he walked? The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Nah. He gave a Roseniors team better width and could pin and beat the opposition full back. It was exactly the type of player we needed....we just paid to much for him
Giles’ biggest problem is that he’s a ****house - ducks out of tackles, headers and hides in games. If he doesn’t find his metal he’ll never make it in this league.
No because he can just call his terms. We’ve approached him so the ball would be firmly in his court. Alex Neil left Sunderland for essentially the same reason. No sane manager would agree to a break clause
if his present contract has a break clause what is wrong with signing another contract with a break clause?
he cant get whatever terms he wants his option may only be to sign a contract with a break clause or stay where he is with a break clause
