A notification popped up on my phone this morning saying City had parted ways with Selles but disappeared when I clicked on it.
I think this is the key point isn’t it. What are we aiming for with change of manager? If the change is coming - it has to be as part of a full change of basically everything on the pitch otherwise it’s not going to work. Im not sure I have trust in Acun to have the patience to do that. Especially considering Bruce took over atop half side and any new manager we get now very much isn’t.

Except numerous people are now saying Selles’ position is part of that review. He may well end up staying - and I hope he does - but let’s not pretend he’s a certainty to stay,
If Selles were to leave then who would be likely to replace him? I would only be happy if we appointed someone like a Gary O'Neil, although I strongly doubt he would come to us when other options will be open to him
this is the key, if it does happen its all about the replacement. it was for another Walter/Arveladze charachter it would be a joke, would only be a good decision if a genuine top name was brought in, but is that likely with our apparent financial situation?
Agree, if we’re going to make another random untested appointment then we might as well stick with what we’ve got. If we’re going to replace him with someone that has a proven track record at this level, I think it would be a good move.
What's the evidence to suggest we are considering it? I genuinely don't know where the rumour came from or how it's grown legs.
remember the tony mowbray rumour? that came about becasue the new head of recruitment is close with him? that was quickly rubbished too.
I know people some people aren’t keen on our local media but if they are reporting it I do think there’s often something in it. Some of the people ITK here also clearly think convos are being had. I’m not saying it’s definite but I also think just declaring he’s staying for certain isn’t helpful either.
Rubbished by who? One local media said there might be something in it, another said there wasn’t. Are we believing local media or not?
