I've already said I felt he would have fit into Tim's style of play than Selles. I'm not sure what's confusing about that. If you want to discuss how many minutes he might have been able to manage then I'm not your guy.

The problem with posting an opinion on here is people feel the need to to scrutinise it to the point where people lose the will to live reading it. Nobody, not even OLM, can say for sure how many minutes Matt Crooks may or may not have played in another managers system, its just a waste of time trying to prove it either way. Just say 'Jim, I disagree, I think he was better suited to Selles system' and I will thank you for your time and we can carry on with our day.

 

I wasn’t scrutinising it. I was confused. I continued the debate and said I wasn’t sure Croos had the fitness to keep up with Walters style of play and you seemed to agree.

 

Sorry, what I meant in my reply was that he would only manage an hour for any team/manager, he seems to be a big unit that gasses easily. However bringing him on for the last 30 in an attacking system may well have got the best out of him. We will never know.
