There are a lot of names or villains on that Mastpoint list..........who the hell is ........Jester 1 Limited.........sounds about right for the comedy act were all part of !!!
Yes Mexijan it is an open forum the meeting has been called for by the fans ..... whether they choose to answer the questions is another matter ! ..... Seems that many fans are very unhappy at the moment !
The first person to answer a question truthfully...........will not go past go and will not pick up £200.
We await the answers, could be a long wait! When do season tickets go on sale? or are they not having them this season.
I was told money has already been borrowed against the sale of season tickets .... how true that is I dont know .....
Not sure how they could get a loan as the deal isn't finalised is it? Unless it´s from some dodgy scouse loan shark which may be where DS gets his secret information, straight from the horses mouth If it´s a Citybus I volunteer Hobo for our representative will get him out the cardboard box for a bit and there may even be free food too.
Just a couple of points. Firstly, we know Heaney was a potential bidder until he got outed with unwanted publicity. It would be no surprise if a compamy was set up to be involved in that. Company names can easily be changed when required so it was unwise of them to draw attention to themselves by not doing exactly what others do - use a meaningless name like Jester 1 rather than one containing PAFC. We also know Heaney is a property developer, so it's no surprise he's worked his way in as a local property consultant if his own bid is dead. Could be fishy but also very capable of a perfectly innocent interpretation. Secondly, most tickets are sold thorugh an agency and these routinely have a facilty to draw a percentage of funds in advance of the actual sales being made i.e. to borrow money against future sales. Credit card processing agencies and debt factoring agreements usually work in the same way. It's maybe surprising that anyone had the confidence to offer that to a League 2 football club in administration and also disappointing if that has had to be done to keep things going to this point despite player sales and exclusivity payments from the bidder. Perhaps it does however explain why Ridsdale mentioned the club restarting with debt to be paid off. I guess a straightforward factoring debt, if that's what it is, is better than some murky amount payable back to the consortium, which is what I was afraid of.
hi its me again, i abhore what is going on at hp but as fans you are obviously hanging on anything that allows you to fulfill your fixture list. let us assume that paddy mcginty and co from gib are buying the lot but selling the football side to risdale, 1 where is risdale getting the money from to buy 2 where is the money coming from to add to the squad 3 where is the money coming from to pay 7 months back pay i have a theory that risdale has his own consortium to run the club, it would be nice if waiting in the wings mr brendt and the sponsors ginsters were to be part of a new consortium, actually interested in football and argle in particular. then you can believe in a safer deal for argyle. paddy mcginty and co can then set about redeveloping redundant areas of home park subject to the deeds of the club and council permission. what does worry me is the way the admin chap can sell a club out of admin, just to clear it off his hands to the highest bidders with no interest in the football the above may be a load of old tosh, but i am beginning to see a football consortium formed to underwrite the saving of the football club and long term to bring success back to the argyle. ridsdale deserves your support as no one else is in the frame. good luck and green army!
Well we will have to wait it seems for July before we will know anything definate. I think we would all like to see a few players heading for Home Park but until we have the main debt sorted out we still have the embargo restricting business. Ridsdale had saved Argyle from going under once, I am sure his grand plan will be revealed soon (well fingers crossed anyway).
The administrator is legally bound to get the best possible deal for those that are owed money - that's all and the same the country over. Given that the property is clearly quite valuable and the club looks like a black hole for cash at the moment, I actually think he's done quite a good job in keeping the club out of outright administration. Ridsdale is buying the club for a nominal sum - £1 presumably - which shows how it's regarded. Thereafter, it will have to pay for itself. Ridsdale was far from my ante post favourite but I agree with you Jack, without him we could well have gone under.
We will see who comes out of the woods when the time comes won't we. I still expect your last post on here to be "sorry I got it wrong". As you are no more a business person than you are a super hero in disguise, you know no more than the rest of us. You are dealing in information yuou perceive to be there and your own interpretation of it. You have no more knowledge on whether your interpretation is spot on, close or miles away from reality. I on the other hand haven't even professed to know what is going on. I refuse to assume something simply on the basis that people are nervous of something having read a snippet of info. There is simply insufficient information on the table for anyone to draw any conclusions with any certainty. If 20 or 30 people offerred their take on everything one might get close to the reality but that is simply laws of averages not because there is some great understanding of all things Argyle. There is a world of difference between speculating or not and believing that everything in the house is hunky dorry. You always go down the route of telling people they are niave or even stupid just because they don't come out with some wild and woolley conspiracy theory. Change the record is my advice and also keep your promise and bugger off somewhere else where somebody might actually believe you when you tell them of your genius. Nobody on here thinks you have any.
DS my Why us with your inane ramblings and change the ****ing record it´s past boring now. If you had an identical twin the pair of you together would struggle to make a decent half-wit. Now back to bottling your wine or maybe you could make up so more amazing football facts for us, I could do with a laugh right now!!
