LON still suspended for the next game aswell, and Ballard came off with a knock, potentially Hjelde is our only fit centre half.
Ballard has done his hamstring - hopefully it's nowt serious, but this time last season he missed 10 games with the same issue.
Back 4 is going to look ****ing minging on Sat

Fingers crossed Ballard isn't as bad as feared and can play saturday. If not I'd get one of the youngsters in rather than play Hume CB

No chance of recalling any of our loan players by the way:

.1.3 any early termination of a Standard Loan must be by way of a mutual agreement in writing (including by way of a recall clause within the Standard Loan Agreement) between the Transferor Club, the Transferee Club and the Player but can only be completed:

(a) after the expiry of 28 days; and

(b) only during a Transfer Window (but subject to Regulation 56.1.4 below) unless otherwise agreed by the League in its absolute discretion (subject to such conditions as the League deems appropriate).

Ekwah-Hjelde-Hume as part of a back 5.

Other than that you could draft in the best defender from the u21s who is probably Henry Fieldson at the moment.

any other suggestions?

I don’t know, Hume at CB might be a decent option. He probably has the most experience there, out of the possible options.

Then play Pembele or a young un at RB. Shame we let Gooch go!
