Love it. The truth hurts as they say, but that doesn't change the fact that it's still the truth. Newcastle are still perceived as the team under Keegan. You know, the one that threw away a 12 point lead to UTD. We are still perceived as a yo-yo club. Like I said earlier perceptions change. It just takes time.
I know it's hard to believe. Down here in London know one gives a flying **** about Sunderland v Newcastle.
I've just seen this list on the SMB. These are how many times each team are on Sky or ESPN untin November. Liverpool 9 Man Utd 9 Arsenal 8 Chelsea 8 Tottenham 8 Man City 7 A Villa 5 Newcastle 5 Bolton 4 Everton 4 Norwich 4 QPR 4 Stoke 4 Swansea 4 WBA 4 Blackburn 3 Fulham 3 Wolves 3 Sunderland 1 Wigan 1 I'm sorry but no way are Bolton, Norwich, QPR, Stoke, Swansea, WBA, Blackburn, Fulham and Wolves a bigger draw than us. There is a rabbit away here mate. Like I said, Sky can stick my subscription up their arses.
has anyone contacted sky, I have via http://www.skysports.com/tabs/contact/0,20256,,00.html c'mon, lets get on their case.
Really its better than some of the other derbies like QPR v Chelsea or West Brom v Wolves. Liverpool v Sunderland also had extra spice after the Jordan Henderson transfer.
if i was offered sky free i wouldnt take it.we had the lowest games from all prem clubs last year on sky and this year will be the same. any mackem with sky sports should have there balls removed with pliers
Well my brother pays £90 a month in total for sky etc and he is not happy at all, it does not bother me as i am a season card holder. The advert is that sky are showing 7 'big' derbies early in the season including QPR VS Chelsea!. (14,000)
No Tv or Radio coverage thanks to Ashley the fat Cockney W@nker. Thanks to him and his greed we wont be on Real radio next year either!!
I thought Murdoch was still in the process of taking over Sky?? I also doubt if he does take over Sky he'll be running it under News International!
His son owns BSkyB. Its only a separate entity in legal terms. Its all very much in Murdochs sphere of influence. If he gets the go ahead then expect it to turn in to the UK equivilent of FOX and FOX news in the US.
Just a question - can Quinn have a input into how many games are shown on SKY? We all know about his campaign against pub showing games on TV in the area. I know these are games that are shown on different TV channels but Quinn might have asked for this.
Quinn will not ask for less games, how much money would he be missing out on? To be fair, we have two away games on a Monday night, a slap in the face for us travelling football fans.
Ok so we arenot on many scheduled matches, but I would not be surprised if Sky didnt televise a couple of games on the pay to view bases. That way the greedy ****ers get a double pay day and the fans get a double whammy.
