To those pundits, me included, who thought that because we hadn't taken too many big beatings this season our goal difference would be good can all smile 
Goal difference prevented us from being the worst club in the division; what a stigma that would have been.
However, there are green shoots of revival (sic); just read MJ's comments on yesterday.......
"This is all our players are capable of - which doesn't look good for the future. It's good to be finishing on a positive rather than a negative today.
"I've learnt a lot this season in a difficult situation - and I'll be better for that moving forward. You don't get taught any of this on a management course - you have to learn and learn quickly. Ultimately we haven't scored enough goals to keep us in the division."
Well, where does one start:
He's learnt a lot....so have we!
He'll be better.......enough said, surely he could't be worse!
We didn't score enough goals......well, that's about the standard of a MOTD pundit.
Back to gardening for my daughter at least she has a plan.....and I have to execute it!
