How long before Komrade Corbyn and his ites march down Westminster to the blaring of the Internationale?

or was that Madrid commies in the 1930s, can't remember :D

Ask Theresa May ... she's the one with the rather amusing habit of calling General Elections and then losing copious amount of votes ...she'll probably be forced into another unholy alliance, this time with the newly formed Soya Sisterhood party, just to avoid being banished to the very back benches with the wider seats where the lone Sensible Party MP will be stuck to his seat whilst drooling at images on his phone <laugh>

That is the political system

Corbyn enacted any more "purges" of his party of late, leaving only antisemites and identity political types?

The Parliament does vote and can make amendments on laws proposed by the Commission, but the Commission must accept any of the amendments proposed for the changes to become effective.

False equivalences again, you vote in a party and they pick a PM

remind me which party you voted for in the EU that Juncker was selected by to rule as overlord?

Junker was elected by the parliament, but he was the only name on the ballot <laugh>
I would be prefer that we had a EU wide election for the president, but if the attention paid to the facts in the recent referendum is anything do go by, the British electorate would not necessarily vote in the best interests of, not only themselves, but Europe as an entity. Politics is not really understood or discussed rationally in the U.K. unlike many other European countries. To add in a different set of groupings would confuse UK voters even more and they would look to the popular media to tell them who to vote for, and we all know what that would bring about.

Not really an argument, so you are saying "**** it, what can you do?"

There is no real mechanism to remove bent commission members and when has it happened no matter how dirty they are

Plus the commission is directly lobbied to, yep, all in secret with massive brown envelopes and there is 0 transparency

Exactiy. It would be totally illogical.

Any evidence of these ‘massive brown envelopes ‘? And, I suppose corruption is the exclusive preserve of the EU?

Lobbyists lobby the commission directly, so who is president matters not really as far as laws are concerned.

Europe is not an Entity, that is the thing, the EU wants it to be, by bullying everyone into line

Think about what you are asking me for. Evidence from secret and private golf course meetings between commissioners and the lobbyists.

It's like you don't know what lobbying is and how it is bent as ****

I would say in this one instance, you are deluding yourself
