EU circa 2050 a.d.

  • Air Travel: Banned – due to possible terrorist attack, fuel is bad for the atmosphere and we need to look after our planet. Go hug a tree instead.
  • Mobile Phones: Banned – because there is a somewhat vague link you might grow a tumor in your brain. Use a leaf and your own poo to write a message to people, that way no harm is done to anything. Oh wait, the trees, so no leaf then. Just walk to the person you want to communicate with.
  • Dogs: Banned – because some people are allergic to dog hair, barking dogs annoy people. Buy a stuffed toy or draw a picture of a dog.
  • Going to the beach: Banned – because you can not be trusted to use sun block. Don’t you know that sunburn and melanoma cost the tax payer billions every yeah in health care? And you might drown in the sea. Rent Baywatch instead.
  • Red Meat: Banned – because it has links to….blah blah blah.
  • Cars: Banned – because they’re noisy, polluting, can cause accidents & are hard to recycle. Use a bicycle.
  • Glass: Banned – because you can’t be trusted to recycle your bottles. If you want milk go suck it out of a cow.
  • Movies & Video Games: Banned – because you might get the wrong impression. Just stare at the wall.
  • TV: Banned – You might be offended by pretty much anything. Just stare at the wall or count your toes.
  • Running & Walking: Banned – because you might fall over. Stand still and hope something happens.
  • Sex: Banned – Because it might lead to an infection or worse, a baby.

Lets stick to the present unpalatable nature of the EU but yes, they do want to regulate every aspect of your life.

Socialist crackpots are like that. Progressive means always stepping forward (with your agenda) as in, the micromanagement will never end and can only get worse

Do remoaners think they will get so far and say "we're done it" and stop and disband the bureaucracy?.. I mean the Politbureau, not bureaucracy
