Look guys, we could lose our two games in hand over Watford and Palace and still be 10/11 points ahead of them.

We could lose three games on the trot, and even if all the five teams below us won all three of their games, we'd still be top.

Am I trying to convince myself or what?........<laugh>
 
After today we dont need to worry. We're going up and probably as champs. So that's a no from me. I want to greet the bus
 
Hull fan in peace here - You will finish 1st no doubt about it, the simple question is which team will run you closest - this weekend's results prove that there is no really strong 2nd team in the league able to break away from the pack as you have done. (Sorry for disturbing you all)

Most teams will take 6 games to get that, take 2nd? never we are the champions.
 
mostyn, as long as we finish first I wouldn't be bothered but purely based on the fixture list, I hope its Hull. That last game at your place would be some party for sure. <cheers>

Cheers pal, and for what it's worth I'll echo what H has just said. That last game of the season could be one real party.

If we did happen to be over the line and Champions by then (long way to go!) I'll get the lads to throw the game if the 3 points brings you up with us.

Looks like it's betwen the Foxes and the Tigers, not a fan of Leicester so let's see a party on the last day of the season.
 
No need to take second - you will go up as deserved champions! Have followed you quite closely this season and there is not another team in the championship that is close to you in terms of quality; even when not performing to your highest standards you still manage to win ugly - that is the mark of true champions!

I would also say that you have a team, in my opinion, that will prosper in the Premier League. Am looking forward to both of us showing the rest of the EPL what a passionate derby game really is! Two Welsh teams in the Premier League; the English media are really gonna choke on their prawn sandwiches!

C'mon Cardiff, let's see how much of a points gap you can achieve - IMO promotion is already guaranteed so go on and do it in style!
 
Got to be 1st for me for a proper celebration ....

Nothing more embarrassing than being runners-up or worse, then having an open top bus ride around your' Town IMO :embarrassed:
