Of course it's speculation. Although, I am not too sure how you can argue that Hooiveld was not effective last year in the Championship. He came in and was a solid defender and scored some very important goals.
I can't help but wonder about your analysis, GMI. Did you think that Hoover was completely useless last season? Surely there is a difference between "simply not good enough for the premiership" and "utter crap"? Unless you were simply going for the reaction?
Crap at this level average last year , keep him and Fonte till the end of the season in case we go down . Maybe even Fantastic Mr Fox . Good insurance policy , on the cheap , no doubt Nicola will sell Ramirez , Lallana , Schneiderlin etc etc but of course we will loads of the money to strengthen ...............................
Back to the original post.... I would welcome boenisch, certainly was quality and could be again with a few games in the U21...has to better than what we have. 6 foot 3 too, that alone impresses me haha!
i think we will see a free agent defender come in, Nigel cant turn it round with the currnet defence.
You read a rumour, god knows where, then came on here to tell us that you hope its just a rumour, even though you know its a rumour? Bit pointless, nothing else you could think to moan about?
Probs made it up Saying Hooiveld was average last season is the most incredibly bad argument ever... Scored a great number of goals to get us to where we are now and was a defensive rock. Success doesn't happen over night.
He also says that he hopes its a rumour after saying that the defence is **** anyway, so he doesn't want us to bring in new players to help the backline?
Frankly I'm a bit disappointed that no one else has picked up on this over the last 20 odd posts on this thread - and there are some serious questions that need to be asked - but I was completely unaware that Michael Jackson lived in Netley. So: 1. Where abouts in Netley 2. Which pub does he drink 3. Does he still do the moonwalk or is there a danger that this would break his cover?
