See Silver is still on permanent Alonso/Hamilton psychology watch, hoping for another comment from Lewis this weekend about 'luck' just to see what happens on here!
Why yes. And wear it with pride... like a zombie poppy that was propagated in the bowels of Beelzebub on the black sabbath. Or something...
JV should watch some youtube stuff, examples: suck it up, JV
I agree with Villeneuve to a certain extent. When things don't go Seb's way, he behaves like a spoilt teenager rather than a mature adult. For example, this season he has proved his immaturity by: Calling Karthikeyan an idiot Whining to the team after Hamilton unlaps himself in Germany Resorting to off-track overtaking, despite clarifications by the FIA Whining to the team in Hungary because he couldn't overtake JB Forcing someone off the track at 200mph, in an attempt to get revenge for a non-incident the year before Whining about Massa after Q3 in Korea Whining about Ricciardo who did nothing wrong in Abu Dhabi Hamilton, Alonso and Vettel were all hit by other drivers at some point this year. When it happened to Vettel, he put his middle finger up at the other driver and called him an idiot. When it happened to Hamilton (at Valencia) he showed signs of frustration but professionally dealt with the media. Alonso, like Hamilton, also behaved in a professional manner after being taken out by Grosjean at Spa. I'm sure in time Vettel will grow up, but for now Villenueve is right.
Please don't bring lists up Forza, that will just inspire me to make that list look like nothing just by going over Alonso's career. Renault 2006 is proof enough to show how much of a child Alonso was and still is: "I don't think I want to race in F1 anymore." brake testing drivers, screaming to stewards about Michael, yup Alonso is the true angel of F1 like Jacques likes to serve us with. Seb has been a choir boy to what Alonso was like in his mid twenties and I don't think anybody questioned that. Oh but since he is southern european he gets away with it as that's his "sterotype" I guess an he cant help it? This is the same guy who blocked Hamilton in the pits, moaned down the radio demanding Felipe to move out of his way, screaming down the radio for Rosberg defending his place at Bahrain, blaming Petrov for not letting him past and waving and screaming his arms around against Webber at Abu Dhabi, accusing McLaren of favouring Lewis over him and also rejecting private stewards to make sure it didn't happen. Seb isn't perfect like you say, but for Villeneuve to come out and single out Alonso as some shining example of professionalism.....Please! even I cant hold down that amount of **** being said without spilling it all over the table in laughter. Alonso is in the same league as Senna and Schumacher as being as one of the most controversial drivers of all time...
It's just Villeneuve bottom burping as usual. I'd take it with a pinch of salt. As I have said before, a good portion of them like a good moan from time to time, just like the rest of us. They are human after all.
This. Absolutely. Forza, your list is laughable btw, you make yourself look like a licensed fool with it. Seb is clearly not playing in Alonsos league regarding immaturity.......
Lets just agree they've both had moments of childishness in the past. Sometimes they have been correct in their frustrations, and other times they've needed to be bigger and move on.
You didn't get my point, whatever. Do you know JV (and his past) at all? This guy is just full of it. At first he should look into the mirror before he opens his mouth. And he is the last person who should talk about maturity.
You guys do realise Forza is referring to the of one year (that's not even completed yet) where Vettel's had a slightly difficult time as opposed to you guys effectively resorting to bringing out the photo album of Alonso. I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever if Forza wanted to go beyond this year he could. Not so laughable then is he?
A lot of stuff I've pieced together over the years, yes. I don't really care much for anything that was too far beyond my time tough.
You've missed the point. Villenueve is talking about the present, not a person's entire career. Alonso and Hamilton were both chidish and petulant a few years ago, but the evidence of the current season has shown both to be mature drivers. Vettel hasn't reached that level yet. He will eventually, hopefully before he comes to Ferrari. What the hell are you talking about? Hamilton is the most controversial driver today in F1, and he isn't anywhere Senna or Schumacher.
The typical "latino fiery spirit" stereotype we always seem to get from the media when certain drivers from certain countries get free passes for acting like ****ers. The same "heart on sleeve" bollocks we get served yet a double standard that is applied for Seb makes him a immature child by the F1 majority and Jacques? And it seems Alonso still hasn't reached this level you talk about Forza: I'll agree with you Seb is no saint (Abu Dhabi is proof enough), but don't try to make it out Alonso's **** cant smell when it's clear enough he does the same old temper tantrums (Bahrain + Abu Dhabi) by freaking out in his car when things don't go his way.
On the funnier side of this all, has anyone seen this yet? I don't understand a word, but this looks like some kind of spanish self-parody to me? Forza, can you enlighten us please?
Alonso has bitched on quite a few occasions THIS YEAR, he was also very dismissive of his team-mates 2nd place in Suzuka, and has made some pretty childish tweets that he took down later, he's a whiney cry-baby, and lets not forget his hypocritical bitching at Monza. I was unsurprised at his total blanking of Kimi & Vettel in Abu Dhabi.
