Part of the joy of Seb is when he f***s up.

Last Tuesday when it was 1-0 he chased & won the ball close top there goal line. A ball he had no right to chase & certainly no right to win! Having done the hard work, he then miscontrolled the ball & it went off for a goal kick. The reaction from a large percentage of our crowd? A standing ovation!

Apart from his goals, he has made quite a few for others as well.

So he's German. So what? Ale is Argentinian, Chery is Dutch, Angella Italian, Mackie and Phillips Scottish enough to play for Scotland, Washington Ireland, Junior Canada, Green England. You don't mention their nationality twice in a short comments about them thank the Gods, if there are any.

I agree it sounds racist!!! Lets hang him and shame his family because he mentioned the word GER..... i can't say the word as it's too discriminatory of me!!! in fact, i shall not even think of Polter as a Ger... because i am sure i shall have some 'yoghurt knitters' from 'PC are us' telling me it's politically incorrect. Maybe we shoul refer to him as European? No that sounds racist as well!! Oh no what can we say?
Bloody hell what's the world coming to?
He is a BIG GERMAN!! German, German, German, He doesn't have good skill for a GERMAN and he is slow for a GERMAN, Yes you heard it GERMAN!

Sense of humour bypass today Jock?

Can someone PLEASE tell me what it is with him ?
Personally I think he is pretty poor and really not very good ...BUT......he keeps scoring !!

Is he really our future and am I being far too harsh ??
Genuinely confused and would welcome any comments.
I can answer this one easily:

he is a striker. His job is to score goals. If you want an all-round forward then fine... get one. But if you want a striker who strikes the ball with head and foot then Seb is doing that.

We all know he's not the best and his ball control and dribbling needs work but he is young, can grow and, quite frankly, is all we have (especially since we're playing one up front). If he gets injured you'll really see how much we currently need him.

Also, he comes over to the fans, picks out a child and gives them his shirt. Enjoy being a QPR fan with good characters like this for our kids to have as role models.

Bit simplistic in my opinion as I think a modern day forward needs to be a bit more than just someone who 'strikes the ball with head and foot'....and if I'm totally honest, half the time he doesn't even do that very well.......but as already mentioned, as long as he keeps putting the ball in the net, it'll keep us fans happy.

Didn't know the thing about giving his shirt to a kid in the crowd......love it and totally agree, a good role model for the young fans.

He needs to be better to carry that hair cut

He has had his haircut...no longer in a silly girlie pony tail

He has said on tweets that he likes the song...I assume that is the BFG song...so he definately has a sense of humour

I was starting to like the corn dolly.

AS i said previously Staines you cannot knock his commitment or enthusiasm. His work rate is very good and he doesn't give up a lost cause. He is scoring goals and i bet defenders hate to mark him.
However, he isn't very good in the skills dept and can't really pass that well. He is frustrating and the best that we seem to have at the moment.
I would hate to go into next season with him/Mackie/Washington as our strikers.

Don't bother tuning in next season I can tell you that you're going to hate it. :emoticon-0136-giggl

Racist? I don't agree it sounded racist. Shaming a family? Yoghurt knitters? PC? What the F are you on about? It was just a bad joke that got repeated daily, and after about 6 months is well past its use by date. You like Big letters?, then I think there is a special thread for you. But well done, you can spell German.

Probably because because germans are current world champions and generally very good players no matter what kind of style players they are!

Never mind Ossie - Ellers clearly dislikes a lot of things - happy clappers and now yoghurt knitters.
