Living in Scarborough, obviously my petrol costs seem to be going up by the match. I have even purchased an old more economical second car for the games, but if petrol gets to 140p, i am unfortunately having to have a healthy debate with others about the cost of going to the game ( the Season Ticket increase doesnt bother me to be honest,as if you take the cost per match it isnt bad).
What is making me think is Sir Nialls comments about selling our top players. Do i take the risk & renew, then find out our best players are sold, or do i not renew and we keep our stars?
I know a lot of you will say if i was a true supporter renew anyway (i have been going to games since peanuts were a tanner a bag,and more were flicked than eaten) but i do have a decision to make.
Does anyone in the know have any info if the threat about selling players was real or is it a ruse? And am i the only supporter who thinks the criticism of fans is getting a bit over the top and monotonous,even though it isnt aimed at us who attend games.
