when do you reckon next seasons season tickets go on sale? do you think they'll go up in price? and how many do you reckon we'll sell? i'm ready to buy mine now after what i've seen so far this season.
Once we're certain what league we will be in then they will probably go on sale/prices will be announced. I'm assuming they will go up in price slightly, but nothing dramatic. The chairman and Sir Chris have spoken a lot about bringing back the fans who gave up on the team in the Pardew/Parky era, so I doubt they will then turn around and try to rip us off with season ticket prices. Then again, us staying in this league is still a possibility, so prices could stay the same or even go down
I think there will be a freeze on prices if bought before the end of season (i expect an announcement around Easter).
I phoned up the club the other day to get my tickets for Exeter and Chesterfield and the woman I spoke to reckons they'll be releasing news on them pretty soon (within the next few weeks) Slater is on Charlton Live tonight so you might get an indication then but the woman did say she doesnt expect them to be going up by much if anything at all (thougn you take her word on that). I'd be very surprised if they didnt go on Sale around March as thats when usually get released
wanna get mine earlier this year. missed out on saving £50 last year cos i was waiting for some mates to buy there's. anyone thinking of changing seat? i gotta say, i'm in the nwq, and its prob one of the best seats i've had the whole time i've been going. prime view for the tunnel jump
Yeh I'll be buying mine the moment they get released which hopefully will be early - I wouldnt be able to afford the Season Ticket in May / June because I'm off to New Zealand for three weeks lol! Be staying in my place in the East Stand though, I've considered moving up to the Covered End choir for a number of years as it can be dead in terms of noise where I am but I've been in my seat every year since I became a season ticket holder now (bout 12 years) and I've too much sentimentality towards it
i've always moved around a bit. might stay put though this year or move back 5 or so rows. wanna get mine in early. possibility of redundancies at work coming so wanna do it while i can.
I needed to use the Zebra Finance option this season, but I have no regrets whatsoever. On one adult ticket, and two junior tickets, I will pay a total of £75 interest. In my opinion, that represents superb value for someone who does not have ready funds at hand.
Fudge, just spent 240 pound on a tablet...at least they have the finance option too, i'll be getting mine next month
Did you really think I was rich, Rifleman? Last summer I was going through a real lean patch financially. I was working on my book and had exhausted all of my savings, plus I had jacked in my job to write full-time. It was a gamble, but one that has fortunately paid dividends. I now have an advance cheque nestled in the bank account, but times were pretty grim a short while ago.
Ducker works for various publishers, AllHell. He travels and then sells his research to magazines, journals and websites. He is off to China, Cambodia and Vietnam in the Summer. A bit safer than Syria, methinks!
