Did I read somewhere we could still use the old style cards if we requested it. Has anyone done this?

On the email with the electronic link to the season ticket there was a paragraph about plastic cards, but apparently you were supposed to have asked for them when purchasing. Haven’t got one myself. I assume you could get one via the box office.

I was planning on doing that for first game to see if photo of QR code works. If not, it's in my Gpay anyway.

My wife (buying for my son's birthday) was advised to phone the club shop - 0208 749 6862.

Just discovered one of the joys of turning 60 is the railcard, meaning the cost of a return train ticket to Marylebone for me on match days plummets from £33 to £21, and the £70 for three year cost of the card is paid for in 6 matches. The savings will be devoted to beverages, and I will avoid the parking lottery and constant uncertainty about traffic conditions on the A40.

Great for everything except my liver.

Have just bought memberships for myself and my lad.
Was informed by email that the digital tickets aren't working till further notice.
We'll have to print off emailed etickets or scan them via our phones' email screen at the turnstiles.

Does anyone know if live games will be available again this season through QPR plus for £10?

Does anyone know what the deal is with the NHS Covid App and attending games?

I only ask because when I read the conditions for the recent pres-season friendlies on the QPR website, a sentence stuck out for me. It said something like "for these pre-season friendlies, the covid app will not be required."

Which makes me think that it might be a requirement for the EFL season games? Like many others, I'm a bit scared about getting the app and instantly being pinged!

Sorry if this has been covered. I did have a quick look to see if it had, and couldn't find anything related.

Looks to me like you won’t need the COVID app, but come September there might be a government requirement to show that you are double jabbed via the NHS App (different to the COVID one which pings you) from which you can download a ‘passport’ to your phone wallet. However, this requirement has been mentioned for PL and/or grounds with over 20k capacity, so might not be necessary for us. Presumably the requirement would be for over 18s only.

Totally correct mate. People keep getting the COVID app and NHS up confused and think they are the same thing. The former is crap and is the one that might get you ‘pinged if you’ve been within 5 feet of your COVID riddled neighbour through a brick wall…..the latter (which is well worth getting) enables you to book GP appointments, order prescribed medication AND (not that I agree with it all) access your COVID passport for travel and access to events.
You have to send off electronically picture ID to access the full system but is worth doing

I've had to give up my season tickets. I'm gutted. They were in the lower loft behind the goal. I had three lovely seats all to ourselves with loads of legroom. I was paying £633 a season but as my daughters turned 18 & 19 back in May I now have to pay £984. I can't justify that at one as off to university and the other works most Saturdays . Next season I'm a pay as you go go. I'm in Ellerslie Road for the Millwall game, that's my knees ****ed. I'll be bowling out of there like Tiny Tim.
( The last time I sat in Ellerslie Road was the 2010/11 season. We beat Doncaster 3-0 . We had a 100% home record and an unbeaten start back then. I think Kaspar Gorkss scored twice and a Taarabt penalty. This result had us six points clear of second spot. Did we take it for granted? )

I do remember watching the monitor in the ground and seeing our league position and feeling elated. We escaped relegation the previous season.

Sorry to hear that. Could you not have done a finance plan with the club, to pay in installments?

Just opened the post to find a QPR branded MasterCard enclosed. An unasked for and unwanted one. I’m sure all ST holders and possibly members will get sent one as well, when you dig deep enough, you will find that it doubles as your physical ST (not needed as I have the electronic version already) even if you don’t activate the card. Which of course I won’t be doing.

Did I miss something, were we told this was going to happen? Doesn’t bother me too much on a personal level, but presumably the card issuer will have undertaken a credit check on all those people whose details were provided by the club…..privacy/GDPR issue? Hopefully there won’t be many who activate it because they think they have to.

    Kind of cheap trick.

Pretty sure that's been happening for a while.
Last time I was a member, me and the lad were sent these cards.
I'm sure it was discussed on here.
Everyone agreed it is a cheap trick. I remember emailing the club and being told that I could use it for entry to games without activating it.
    Presumably we'll get these again.

I can afford to pay for them ( fortunately ) but my two daughters can no longer go to every game. £984 is a bit much to pay for a season ticket which would effectively be just for me. I think even the dearest season ticket is £674?

No membership card though. I've not had a membership for a couple of seasons, so expected a new card - is it all digital now?
