I don’t know if I’m alone but I’ve really not decided whether I’m going to get a SC for next season. My feelings right no is not, The whole debacle at the beginning of last season & the subsequent dire football. I watched every game last season but I have to say we were absolutely shocking. I believe Nige is the right man for the job, but I think I’ll watch on from afar. A few exciting summer signings may change my mind but I doubt it.
COVID has had an impact as well, I really don’t fancy sitting in the stadium for a good while yet, I’ll let you buggers be guinea pigs firstI was with you on this one as were my mates whom I sit with. Especially when SL said that they would discuss the managers position at the end of the season, I feared another summer season ticket con, talking about proven replacements and installing Scrumpy the robin 48 hours before the first league game of the season, luckily Pearson called SL out publicly over this saying the end of the season would be too late and SL finally saw the light.
Pearson signing a 3 year deal and seeing 11 dead wooders leave and basically the other 2 of the out contract players being made take it or leave it offers and rumours that maybe at least 2 in contract players could be on the move if the right deal came along, I, my mates and quite a few others decided to renew, the last figure I saw prior to season tickets going on general sale was 12,000 sold, which given the current still uncertain times in which we live is really good.
I still think it will be at times a very rocky road, but what I am confident about is for the first time in 2 seasons is we will see 11 players on field at least putting in 100% effort, something I think most of us can agree has not been the case for far too long, hopefully a medical rehab team that will look after injured players better and not worsen said injuries, a manager managing the footballing side of a football club and not a narcissist CEO and best of all said narcissist is gone.
Pearson will have to live and die by his own decisions like most professional managers, unlike LJ and Holden who lived and died at the hands of a teflon man they were happy to go along with.

In your opinion...which is lacking in evidence for anything....bit more blah blah to add to your pileRP doesn't go because of LJ being appointed and Onfer doesn't go because LJ was sacked.

It was a joke, I don't do emoji's I leave them to 'the younger generation' who somehow think that it adds more creedence to their opinion.

The trouble for me is I've got out of the 'habit' of bothering.
Bothering with leaving before Saturday noon to have hell parking and then getting home half six.

Leave early to park in Ashton Vale, meet my siblings for a chat and bite to eat in the Concourse, often then having dropped my partner on the way in at one of her friends, either collect her, or sometimes pop into the cottage for a beer and a munch .Why?
