brb I wouldn't believe all that you read in the O/S The brochure states that the unreserved seating relates to the Brian Moore Stand. There are separate prices for the different sections in the GRS, so it's hardly going to be unreserved - can you imagine the chaos at half time when people leave their seat ( to empty their colostomy bag ) - only to find that somebody has decided to move because it was a better seat ?
It was a long day yesterday, so I best go and check again, this was on the booking site. There is a trick to the colostomy bag though. if you let it dribble on a section of seats as you get up it then keeps the plastic clear of plastics
Just checked and you are right as always! Can you tell me what other additions if any are we getting with our ST also is there an early bird offer. ps. I just realised also that we have 2 threads running on this topic, no wonder I'm getting confused. The other one gives detail of some of the offers.
Are they really going to let us have season tickets in the BMS. I quite enjoyed it up there yesterday with the great view. With the costs being an issue for the size of my tribe investing in a brolly or two might make financial sense. Not sure I need the colostomy bag yet though !!
Is there a link, for a season ticket, thinking of getting one next year, rather than pay by game. So excited yesterday, did not even look for the brochure ?
brb Season ticket holders will get 2 free tickets for a home league game. 4 tickets for ' friends for a £5 ' 20% off replica shirt. 6 tickets for ' kids for a £1 ' as you know I have two season tickets. During the season I also purchase about half a dozen tickets for my older son, and I will be buying at least one shirt - so it's quite a saving for me to use all the available deals ( I estimate £118 in total ) - and I can give the kids tickets to my youngest nephew.
So tempted in getting one, especially with them discounts, also would like to sit next to or near someone, kind of a gills buddy, would make my days a whole lot better, than going on my own.
getting my season ticket back in the town end and hoping all the old regulars will be back home with me which at a price of 275 i reckon most will be
spending the last few years in the RE and going home dry in the winter feels like cheating and football is an outdoor sport after all, it'll also make away fans have to think of a new excuse for not coming with home fans in the same stand we are the town end we are the town end we are the town end gillingham
I reading stuff on twitter about a photo card with the ST anyone got further detail, how does that affect if I cannot make a home game and want to give the ticket to someone else?
brb - no details yet. I suspect that the club will say that the ticket is not transferrable. Well I'd like to see them try that with me. I buy a second (adult) season ticket which is mainly used by my younger son ( because I can afford it better than him ) - He misses 2 or 3 games a season. My older son takes advantage of these occasions - saves me buying a matchday ticket.... tell me who wouldn't do the same.
Exactly but this could be steps towards a complete photo id ST for the future. So I think supporters need to voice their concerns now on any rules that may be implemented on them if this introduction does take place, even if only an early part version of the idea. I accept responsibility for anyone I give my ST too, but we need to be realistic about other commitments during the course of the season and I don't want to see restrictions applied.
A few years ago they did a 10 match ticket, do they have anything similar in the brochure or have they abandoned that now? I can't do too many games so a 10 match ticket would be of better use to me. If not then I might invest in a half season ticket come decemeber.
This is a good deal for me too I also buy two season tickets and often buy extra single match ones - so I get nearly half a season of cheap tickets plus I can bring some of the grandchildren on sunny days, I always get at least three shirts too so the shirt deal suits too, well done GFC this has kept the smile on my face! Myself , Mr Throwoff and the brother of throwoff reside in the lower Medway block C row D - in the low seventies (seats not age!) - not the liveliest place in the ground but view is good and a lot of "witty" banter - especially towards the linesman - Mr Throwoff is currently threatening to relocate to the Rainham end (again) In my experiance wherever you sit you will soon make many friends Roy
