Most people from Leeds prefer the odd shaped ball - so the follow the Rhino's - its the only way they'd get to see Wembley (keeping with tradiction though, Leeds Rhino's have lost their last 6 games at Wembley)
Did you really take 500 fans to your biggest game for 2 years ?. If you had much better support you would be a mickey mouse club.
It would be probably best if The Wallies v Wigan game was played at somewhere like Barnet, that way it may be a better atmosphere with 100 Wally fans and 5000 Wigan fans in a small compact ground,
"We hope that they are well received and this is reflected in the take up rate from both existing season ticket holders, as well as new applicants. The level of fans response will form an integral part of our budgeting process for the squad next season." According to Phil Hay (for what its worth) you need to sell around 7k season tickets to pay back the loan on the stand - If you sell the same as last season (10k) that leaves 3,000 @ say £380 a pop on average = £1,140,000 left over - not much to A) Improve your squad OR B) Pay off another club to steal their manager. Basically, I read that as saying if you want a better squad next season, you'll need significantly more bums on seats first - its a catch22
Can save your sums, TC. Salem Patel tweeted yesterday that the first £3.3m goes to ticketus, then it's all LUFC's.
Hopefully we can have a "ken bates end of life party" soon them tickets will sell for hundred quid a piece
