Hi all,
Have had a season ticket for the last 8 years now in kingsland centre but have decided it might be good to mix it up this year and try Itchen.
Unfortunately the website is very poor and gives little information on available seats. Instead it offers this terrible link below showing a map of the stadium but not allowing you to look at rows or seat numbers. (In pevious years we have had an interactive map of the stadium, click any seat and it will give you an image of what the view is like of the pitch. Only way i can see this at the moment is using Ticketmaster for the killers tour.

Called up the ticket office and got told seats are available for my family and I in Itchen in row j and q. This doesn't really mean much to me as i have never been this close to the pitch. Our first season ticket was right at the back of the stadium and we have slowly been working our way forward.

If anyone has experience this far forward in these rows it would be great for a bit of guidance before we make the move. (Don't want to move that far forward only to find we are going to get soaked every game. Would also be great for me and other potential ticket buyers if you have a season ticket or even are a regular in a certain stand/row so can give advise on your block and row.

Will start below

Kingsland centre row NN
Pros. Great view of the overall pitch and great for watching build up to goals.Protected from rain.
Cons
Exact same view as match of the day cameras, sometimes hard to see individual skill/fouls. Lots of stairs. (Last to leave the stadium which is a pain when having to make a dash for a train.)

Kingsland centre row U
Good view of the pitch, dry.
Cons.
Still hard to see individual skill.

Thanks

I regularly sit in row Q or nearby as I find you get a decent view and quite close to the pitch.

If you like following the flow of the game and seeing the bigger picture, don’t go too low. my ST used to be row AA and was excellent for following the game. My lad always wanted to be much lower but I’d do that on away trips for him because you really can’t follow the game and see what’s really happening. Maybe more exciting, but I like the. Oh her picture view.

If it’s a change of atmosphere you’re thinking of, head towards the Northam but not in it. I used to be block 35, so on the side but close to the Northam corner to be able to get their atmosphere. Still good enough to see the action at the far end byline..

Good to know. Think j may be a bit too close but hoping Q might still be ok. Very limited blocks of 3 available at the moment but can imagine a large dip in next season in the current economical climate. Might be worth waiting until the renewal window closes.

I used to be in block 34 row S, usually was a good place to be atmosphere wise and a decent view.
