I'm happy with that. Paid for anyway by backing us on Betfair to stay up. Now to wait for the fixture list and start lining up some Saturdays off.

Your "sauce" was probably tomato. Your source was pretty good though. Sorry, couldn't resist.

Yep, this would definitely be a worthwhile investment of my student loan.

I'm dreading the fixture list. On holiday for the 17th August and a wedding in Scotland on the 31st August, so please make us away to Stoke first game, home second game and then away to Sunderland on the 31st. Not much to ask.

Might as well have another go, the price won't change that much from last year.

    Nice! What you doing?

This is all very well but cost of travel to these La Liga / Bundesliga games would be prohibitive, I'll stick to the UK games thank you

In the case of Spain, there's hardly any employment so most don't have the money to afford UK season tickets. And having been to the Mestalla, the stadiums need a fair bit of renovation.

Approximately how many games could you miss before it would be dearer for you to buy one as opposed to going game by game?

Good question. I missed 4 home games last season, so I effectively paid £38.33 per game for my seat in The Chapel. That would work out at £40.26 a game next season. Not cheap when you put it like that. In fact I don't think I saved anything at all as seats behind the goal varied from £30 - £38 last season for an adult.

I wish people would get over how much cheaper the Bundesliga is, the Premier league is expensive because fans still keep selling out the stadiums. If people stopped going the price would go down. Rather than complaining...just stop going.
