So, they don't have a sponsor at all, and if they did, the name change isn't an issue. LEAVE IT ALONE FFS.
That club statement is beyond embarrassing. For the record, our new shirt sponsor is a bookies who signed up months ago and don't give a **** what we're called as long as we're on telly every week. CTWD didn't mention season ticket prices in their FA submission. There are dodo's with more life in them than this idea.
The whole thing ('Club Statement') had a bad smell, as I read it. You've brought it into focus, mate. I guess it's meant for the likes of Happy and Patty, Tyger and mostyn, etc. They surely don't imagine it's going to have any effect on sane fans, do they?
From the Club statement Our Hull Tigers application is intended to capitalise on the club’s 100-year heritage of being the Tigers. Over the past six months our vice-chairman Ehab Allam and commercial manager Simon King have been speaking to several globally recognised brands. Although some of these brands have ‘Tigers’ in their names, the current front-runners for next year’s sponsorships do not, although they do hail from regions where tigers are both prominent and celebrated. I've sussed it out. The new sponsors are Flamingoland
What's embarrassing is the CTWD Statement that consisted of <we're the simple victim here, fake admiration and support for a 50% increase in season tickets> followed by "We're making a statement that we're not making a statement". What the club has just done is in fact awesome. I realise the intricacies of business, and of running a football club is lost on some of you, especially anyone in CTWD, but what the club is saying is they have sponsors lined up for next year. That's point one. Sure, they're from regions with a love and admiration of the Mighty Tiger, but, that is coincidental and is not the reason for the name change. Point two is, the business plan that they presented to the FA (yeah, sorry, I know you think they should have, but they didn't share it with you), is based on a name change and the money it will generate will protect ticket prices. Two different things. Sponsorship. Additional revenue. Lots of it. No, not pie stand concessions. Actual proper money. No, they do not have to, or even need to share the details of that with CTWD. Yes, there is a business plan. Produced by actual businessmen with a clue. The "we wont make a statement but we think a 50% rise in season ticket prices is good news" statement from CTWD was almost clever, except we all know where the "HDM understands..." comes from. Not sure what you lot are so afraid of. Once this goes through, and Dr Allam is proven right and an astute guardian of our club, most fans will think the same of you lot as now. Nothing. So don't worry about losing any face. You don't have any to start with. Ultimately the club is in good hands, the future looks promising and we'll get stronger. We might even win a cup finally.
Its something to do with steal im lead to believe, company called Tata Group , suppose that would link up with Allam Marine and the Services and products they supply?
Maybe it's another language error and we're entering into a relationship with a Thai Girls service? Ace strap line. Hull City, you can all get ****ed.
You really do need to get your eager nose out from between the flabby old buttock cheeks of that elderly Egyptian.
It was nothing more than an attempt to make CTWD appear the bad guys, as Allam can't bear his self-inflicted status as the villain of the piece and wants people to hate the group he hates. Make sure you respond to that calling his bullshit The club statement is yet another farcical one where the club needs to 'clarify it's position' (How many times has it needed clarifiying now?) after Allam's moronic comments. I feel sorry for the employee who has to copy that up, shaking his head as he does it. The childish attempt to claim CTWD want a season ticket increase is pathetic, but the really ridiculous bit is that last paragraph where it's factually claimed that becoming Hull Tigers will bring in an amount of money to 'dwarf' that of an actual plan. This club is just a ****ing shambles. This situation is ridiculous. The club's biggest enemy at the moment is the fans. All these statements are is a dig at the fans every time. How can a football club resent its fanbase so much. Just **** off Allam.
It's a rather confusing loan as the two parties are represented by the same person. From my understanding is that Allam would lose the money if he walked away down to something and I thought it would be breach of contract
Quality. Got a good chuckle from that. On another note Happy Tiger - if, in 5 years or so, the name change proves a total failure, Dr. Allam has alienated the vast majority of fans, basically ruined the club, would you still back him/the name change fully? Is there anything he could do to make you turn on him? If so, what would incite you? Just out of curiosity mind.
The businessman who currently runs our club has said he wants to start a new club called Hull Tigers. Wake up.
Good for you then Tickles, you can afford to pay these prices. I can't, and i hope you understand that most people in Hull can't. I haven't had a holiday abroad in ten years,(**** i miss Crete) but iv'e still had a city pass in every one of those years, and you really need to trust me when i say, i'm not alone. We,the crowd you see every game(you know, the ones that make the noise) won't be there. And we'll be ****ing depressed.
He's already confirmed he'll turn on Allam if he sacks SB. We'll find out soon enough whether it was true or not.
If it infuriates you so much, why don't you just take your own advice? Edit: not that I'm telling you to **** off, just realised that's how it sounds
