Fulham are reducing prices by 15% & kids by 50%, also check out their chairmans statement to fans. The regime running our club seems so mealy mouthed, small minded & bitter in comparison. It feels toxic & I feel infected...

I have 2 adults & 2 youths (13-18) so if I've got my sums right my passes have stayed the same! Can someone put last years prices up for me to check? They've moved the children's ages about this year so it's giving me some hope! :emoticon-0107-sweat

£713 quid dearest ticket! £586 quid next dearest plus a further 30 quid for instalments.
You can pick and choose clubs constantly who offer a certain deal even the ****ing krauts but its mainly bullshit.

Do all other clubs fans whine like this every year when prices go up?

I would say some fans of every club gladly accept price increases year on year.

I know I'm not the first to say it but that is so stupid, saying the prices are intended for PL football but not stating what happens if not. Presumably the increase stands if we're relegated.

I just don't understand the point of whining Obi.

If you support a PL club, or even a league club, the prices go up pretty much every year. You're paying for something that will almost certainly cost you money, a fair bit. Whining about it just smacks of King Canute to me.

People have a simple choice, if you want to pay it and watch a club compete at these levels, pay it. If you don't, you don't.

I understand some people are on a budget and this could take it outside their ability to pay but that I am afraid, is life.

There's plenty of things I can't afford, but I don't feel some type of entitlement to them, nor do I keep harking back to the olden days when you could go to the cinema, then afterwards get fish and chips and 5 pints of beer and have change out of a quid.

Football is never going to be the working class game it once was. For a start the class definitions are wildly different now. Society is different. Society changes almost every generation and peoples expectations change with it.

If you don't like it, stop watching it, there are plenty of other options out there.

NB thats a generic "you", not actually you, Obi.

Well yeah, but how do you think anything ever changes in this world? Via conversation & the sharing of thoughts & ideas, doing this is not just "Whining". Did your parents not encourage dissent & independent thought in your family? Did you always have to do what the authority figures said?

The club should have clarified. It must be deliberate that they haven't. Presumably just another dishonest attempt to give us the half of the story they want us to hear. It's incredible really, advertising that the prices will be released today but still leaving people confused after the 'announcement.'

I wonder if they'll try to arrange a ballot of next season's pass holders from the few who renew early.

I suspect it's similar to the snippets they pass to people hoping they get leaked. Send out the really bad version, then when the reality's only bad, it looks good.

If they save announcing a price freeze, or reduced increase on relegation until later, it possibly would be acceptable to quite a few and they could argue they were showing confidence in the team.

You seriously think whining about something online that happens every season will cause season tickets to fall in price?

I'm being accused of lacking in independent thought by a sheep? <laugh>

Errm so why do you participate in this here social media site? I never said that "Whining about something ...etc" would cause season pass prices to fall, that was your Aunt Sally that you then knocked down. Things, even big things like governments, change through many people organising & coming together; that process begins with an idea and the sharing of that idea, developed through conversation & so on. Call that "whining" if you like. Don't see your sheep connection, you projecting a denied aspect of yourself?

Allam has made me so cynical about everything City that I really don't like the use of 'intended' prices for Premier League especially due to renewing before the last premier league game.l

A season pass in the Championship in 05/06 in West was £390 or £430 for a new pass holder.

    Food for thought

The club can stick these prices where the sun doesn't shine.

On the poll thread, the bulk voting seem to be saying they wouldn't renew if the price was dropped.
