Season Jinxed?

I've been putting off the day...perhaps just another season...
maybe I'll just make it to the last game.

But no.....I've had to face it...it was getting uncomfortable.

Those navy blue socks, which I wore to every Rovers' game,
just had too many holes. Heels and toes....protrusions everywhere.
They've gone to the recycling bin.

So have I jinxed the coming season?

On second thoughts though...perhaps their going might herald a new dawn!

Anyone else had this dilemma?
