Interesting that we are scoring at the same rate last year when we had Kane. Many were fearful of losing his circa 30 goals a season.

 

We're just attacking a lot more.
I suspect if you replaced Richarlison with Kane in this side then we'd have scored a lot more.
May not have affected our overall total, but the goal difference may be better.

 

I believe the GF will be negative on the "like for like"
come season end, because Son + squad cannot
match Son + Kane.

Similarly I believe that if Spurs finish in the top 4,
they will have the lowest GD

 

Yeah, I can imagine we wound have scored more if Kane was still in the team.

Not convinced our goal difference will be the lowest of the top 4 should we finish there but there’s a chance I suppose. Let’s hope that the goal difference isn’t a factor at the end of the season.

be clear of those below them by virtue of points.

How much less on GF I am not sure.
Of all the remaining games on the "like for like" ,
Spurs scored more than 3 goals in only 6
(the next fixture interestingly being one of them) .

 

PL (like for like with 2022-23 after 10 games) :

Pts = +9, GF = -2, GA = -9, clean sheets = +3, W = +3, D = 0, L= -3.

 

While this won't affect the compass, this maybe could be something for the end of season summary

With Villa also currently in good form, another measure
of how well the system is faring against the better teams.

The like for like comparison is a better measure of progress than points

 

PL (like for like with 2022-23 after 12 games) :

Pts = +6, GF = -2, GA = -4, clean sheets = +2, W = +2, D = 0, L= -2.

 

PL (like for like with 2022-23 after 13 games) :

Pts = +6, GF = -1, GA = -4, clean sheets = +2, W = +2, D = 0, L= -2.
