So we are doing exactly as well as last season in the PL and better in the CL. It's a disaster!

 

Given that Spurs can now only finish with 82 pts max,
do you believe that 77 pts (or less) will be enough to secure
a PL top 4 slot come May ??

 

Well no team has got 77 points and finished outside the top 4 and none of our competitors for 3rd and 4th are currently averaging more than 2 points a match so 5 wins and a draw should be enough. I think 6 wins would definitely do it.

 

Time will soon tell on the above (in general and for Spurs in particular) .

 

I think a lot will depend on how all 4 teams fighting for 3rd and 4th manage to juggle their european commitments. Of the 4, only Chelsea have a draw that shouldn't cause them too much trouble - but they have to travel to Anfield and Old Trafford still. Ourselves, United and Arsenal will be pushed to the limits by the next round of CL/EL fixtures.

Arsenal have by far the easiest PL run-in on paper but 5 of their 8 games are away from home and their away form is pretty poor.

Very precarious now (Citeh and the Spanners are the only games
remaining where a like for like improvement can be achieved) .

 

1 draw in 33 is a stat that won't throw up any comparisons.

 

Spurs qualify for the SFs of the UEFA "Champions Cup" for the
first time since the Double side that also included a certain
Mr Greaves in the team.

So 2 wins and a draw to match last year.

 

Yep. Only 79 pts max possible for Spurs in the PL now.

GF and GA is probably not going to be great for the last 3 games
(was GF = 9, GA = 2 last season) .

 

PL (like for like with 2017-18 after 36 games) : Pts -1, GF 0, GA -2.

Can only finish on 76 pts max now (worse than last season) , and
may well need all of them to guarantee a top 4 finish.

 

After the weekend's other results we only need 72. One last push...

Desperate times now.
No doubting that the absence of a fully fit Kane at two points of
the season has had a serious effect.

 

Right now the compass is pointing south.
