It seems a bit of a mess for people with 19/20 season cards who did not renew for 20/21 (last season).

Initially Chris Waters said these people kept their old cards which would work and would not get a new one.

Then today he corrected himself and said they would get a new card for this season.

Then after he said that people were at the ticket office and had their cards activated and were told they would work.

People have asked Chris to clarify (on twitter) but no answer as yet so no-one knows if they're valid or you'll get a new one.

I'm one of these and so far haven't received a new card. So no idea if I'll get in or not on Satda. Could end up being an afternoon on the piss.

I do feel sorry for Chris though, seems like he's got no help and getting asking a million questions every day.

Oh **** that doesn't sound good. I ain't got a new one and I'm guessing I'm not so if I dont get in with my old 1 on saturday will just have to follow the example set by many at Wembley and storm through a fire exit or summat.

I normally don't get over till close to kick off. However, with taking the boyo over , definitely getting across with plenty of time to spare. Doubt there will be much on outside the stadium as way of entertainment like so will try to time it best as possible.

Can imagine some serious confusion with getting in and some cards not working etc.

Right, I've just bought a ticket for the Wigan match, it says I should have a pdf to download in my confirmation email, but I don't.

Cards still not arrived, but the postie hasn't been been round yet, so still hope. If not, I'll email the club and get digital tickets for tomorrow. No sweat.

Emails from the club come to my business email and are filtered into their own folder. It's the SCs which haven't arrived (yet). As I say I have no doubt the excellent staff at SAFC will get me (us) sorted.
