A £1k will get you £2,4k though with no real risk.
Actually I know **** all about Italian football I guess JUve most be certainties though.
My brother used to do Celtic / Man United double every week years ago , similar odds and would wedge on a fair bit , win most weeks but just a couple of dodgy 0-0 throughout the season and all profit was wiped out <laugh>

I did the same myself. You get cocky.
You never see a poor bookie but if you're smart you can get regular winnings.
The secret as someone has already posted is go on the lower leagues cause the bookies dont care enough about them.

£10 at 16/1 on us to go down!
Can't see it, because their will be three worse teams than us....I expect Barnsley to be down there, with Millwall, Preston, Bolton, Ipswich, QPR and Burton not far away from the drop...16/1 is a bit stingy. If offering say 25/1 on City relegation then that's a more value bet.

If today's anything to go on so far, my money is looking pretty good!

It was at about half time! We still should have been battered despite the final score & 2nd half performance!
If they'd got a 2nd like they should have, then today we could have been talking a 4,5 or more defeat.
Let's not get carried away thinking we're World beaters.
We are currently out of the relegation zone by a point & still about 49 points from safety!
I am hoping that the 2nd half performance is the way the team's going to play for the rest of the season. I just have my doubts.

I too along with many other fans have their doubts...A couple of injuries to key players and we could be down there quite easily. Though I think there will be three worst sides than us. Millwall for instance tonked Forest off the park, but still lost. Bolton lost today, that said at home to a decent Leeds side. Barnsley were three down to Brizzle before half-time. Burton who performed magnificently last season will succumb to second year syndrome. Ipswich will be down there. Taking those things into consideration I think 16/1 for us to go down is not a value bet. I wouldn't have parted with a penny at those odds.
