Thanks for pointing that out. At some point, I’ve put his goal time in by the looks of it.

If you look at the Home-Draw-Away schedule, Sensible has a total of 32 goals - which can’t have an 8 in it.

So I think I corrected that but didn’t update the Match-By-Match-Score schedule.

I’ll try to get the results out later but I have roast beef to cook!

To confirm, Sensible's forecast was wrong in the preview schedule, which I've corrected.

There are some funny old games in this lot, particularly those involving Port Vale and AFC Wimbledon, both of whom are in Argyle's remaining fixtures, together with Barnsley.

If Rotherham don't win then they are to all intents and purposes down: they would then be at least 12 points behind AFC Wimbledon and Leyton Orient with 4 games to play and already have the joint worst goal difference in the division of -26, along with Northampton. AFC Wimbledon have a goal difference of -14 and Leyton Orient -9.

Similarly Northampton must win: if they draw at Luton, they will only be able to reach only 48 points against Wimbledon and Orient's current 50 even if they win all their remaining games and Wimbledon lose all theirs.

Sorry for slow turnaround this time: amongst other things, we have a leak in the central heating system and yesterday I had a set-to with my insurance company about it, now resolved I hope,

In essence, we don't know where the water is going but it's going somewhere. I doubt it's caused much if any damage yet, but left to its own devices, it may. I'm covered for damage but we need a contractor to find the leak by filling the system with gas and detecting where the gas comes out. I was going to pay for that myself until I found out it costs £2,500 plus VAT and that quickly changed my mind. If there's damage they'll pay for it, if it turns out the damage is small or non-existent they won't. If I'd left it until the damage was significant, they would pay for it and the damage! It's crazy. So read the small print!

Anyway, there are the 12 weekend fixtures. Of fixtures there are 12. There are not 10 fixtures, neither are there 13. (see Monty Python and the Holy Grail).

There will be an extra feature, namely the Ey Up, Ee Ba Gum, Trouble t'Mill Double Points on the first 2 games.

Barnsley - Bradford City
Bolton Wanderers - Huddersfield Town

AFC Wimbledon - Plymouth Argyle
Exeter City - Stockport County
Leyton Orient - Rotherham United
Mansfield Town - Luton Town
Northampton Town - Doncaster Rovers
Reading - Cardiff City
Stevenage - Lincoln City
Wycombe Wanderers - Blackpool
Peterborough United - Burton Albion
Port Vale - Wigan Athletic

Sorry: kick-off is at 12:30 on Saturday. Those who haven't yet provided forecasts for the Peterborough and Port Vale games can do so before 1 pm on Sunday.

"And Saint Attila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying, 'O Lord, bless this thy hand grenade, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits. in thy mercy' And the Lord did grin. And the people did feast upon the lambs, and sloths, and carp, and anchovies, and orangutans, and breakfast cereals, and fruit bats..."

"And the Lord spake, saying, ''First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.'

The dreaded water leak......so happy I took out a Homeserve contract that covered the labour charges.......I might of mentioned a few years back that the hall carpet in our bungalow started to become wet.

They came along (two morons) and ripped the carpet up to find wooden parquet tiles covering a concrete floor......everywhere was swimming in water. So they got out some so-called High Tech equipment to locate where the leak was coming from.....so Mr Know-It-All started ripping up the parquet flooring and decided where to get his pick axe to work....he dug through 18 inches of concrete until he broke through the concrete into the rubble underneath and of course he didn't find a water pipe anywhere.....in the meanwhile he and his mate in their bother boots had been walking all over the folded back carpet doing it no favours.

After a bit of head scratching they decided there was nothing else that they could do today and filled the hole up with a substantial amounf of concrete mix.....and arranged for another (older) person (hopefully with more than two brain cells) to come along in FIVE DAYS time to assess the situation.

In the meanwhile the water meter was going around very happily quite quickly still.

Eventually this more experienced man came along and decided the leak was about five foot away from where the numpties had dug there hole....it took him all day to find the leak.....and he dug a hole with a hammer and chisel and located eventually a leaking pipe.....he cut a section of pipe out and tried to solder in a sleeve....but although the mains water was turned off he couldn't get the solder to set because there was still too much water in the pipe and in the hole.....So he arranged for another couple of (plumbers ???????) men to come along a WEEK later.

In the meanwhile we where living in a hall that resembled a building site with a pile of parquet tiles and a badly creased folded carpet and very wet concrete floor.

When they came back they tried three times to solder a sleeve over the damaged pipe and eventually gave up.....and instead put in a brass joint with a nut and olive fixtures both ends....THERE job done....leak solved.....the next day two more navvies in their bother boots came along and concreted in the hole.

A week later the floor was dry enough for me to try and relay the parquet tiles....only to find that both concrete holes where not flush to the floor so my tiling wasn't flat....(by now I had nearly lost the will to live)....I finished the job...relaid the poor dishevelled carpet.....and found out that the tiles over the two filled in holes was a little rocky.

This job took a month before the carpet was back in place.

Eventually I received a water bill that showed that my bill was plus £500 because of the leak.....at the time of the leak these morons in the bother boots told me not to worry because Thames Water would not charge me in full for the water leak.....a year later I gave up and didn't get a penny back although they took 4 weeks to stop the leak.

notDistant I feel for you and your leak......and I am very happy that I took out a Homeserve contract that covers water leaks....electric problems.....plumbing indoors and out...sewage etc (up to the road)......I dread what the cost would have been on top of the cost of the leaked water.

PS........Now and again I check the water meter on the pavement to make sure it is stationary when I know that no water is being used.

I think we're sorted. After I threw my toys out of the pram, they've offered to send their leak-finders in at their expense. I bet they're not paying £2,500 plus VAT....!

I had a phone call this afternoon from the contractors, so they have been instructed.

The worst of it is that normally at this time of year, I'd set it to burn automatically for a few hours around breakfast time and a few more from sunset 'til after bedtime. But I can't do that because every time it stops burning and cools down, the pressure drops so that the automatic cut-off stops it re-lighting until we add water. My other half can drive a tractor and milk a cow and ride horses and all sorts of country things but if the temperature drops below 75 degrees, look out. I thought farmers were supposed to be hardy.
