Prediction League Season 2025-26

I'm in a right muddle now as I started an "FA Cup" version of my spreadsheet so I could produce the correct team names, make the model do the calculations and provide the output. It's a bit of a waste of effort with Argyle going out in the first round....

Anyway, here is the Match Text for the next round of league games, starting on Thursday 6th November at 8pm. I know some of you have already given scores or the Thursday game, thank you.

I was looking at your scores points wise for Rotherham v Burton. When the result came out I thought I had a point but when I looked back I had posted 3 - 1. Your post gives me 1 point. I looked back further and see I had previously posted 2 - 2 so the 3 - 1 was a second post on the same game. Doh........ But I kind of feel a cheat with having seemingly amended the score by posting again. Trouble with that game was the time lapse between postings and the game being played. Anyway, if you deduct the point I will not scream and shout.

I put the forecasts in as soon as I see them because that obviously cuts down the turnaround time when the actual results come in. Once I've done that I mentally cross you off the list and just look at the newer ones! I didn't spot a change as I didn't look. I do have you down as a draw but 1-1 not 2-2.

It's very honest of you and I'm inclined not to change it but I suppose to be fair to the others I should. If you won the whole thing by 1 point, there might be complaints! I knock it off the upcoming round. That'll make a mess of my nice tidy spreadsheet........

Actually, Huddersfield have had a poor run of results recently. Only 4 points from their last 5 games.

Where there’s life there’s hope……..
 
Both teams have picked up only 4pts from there last 6 league games.

Both of us lost in the FA Cup last Saturday.....they at Bolton 2-1.
