Sorry notDistant what is the relevance of that ?
The relevance is that I post partly to give you all an opportunity to correct errors in your own (or other) submissions and partly as a matter of interest to all or any participants.

The timing of that dependent on how quickly forecasts come in but it’s always up before kick-off, even if it is at that stage incomplete.

That time scale is dependent on my own availability but submissions after that time are entered on an as-seen basis. Any queries on those will be dealt with if the next round hasn’t kicked off.

You are doing something different ie waiting until results are declared before raising queries - sometimes on other people’s submissions suggesting you are recalculating the whole lot. Would you like to take the whole thing on next season?

NotDistant .....all I am saying is that your post No1139 is saying that goal totals will score points for this round and you have not taken that into consideration in your results........surely that is a simple enough question to ask.

Northampton Town - Barnsley 1-1
Peterborough United - Mansfield Town 3-1
Stockport County - Port Vale 4-0

Apologies for missing some. I was on holiday. I think I would have scored about 159 points during that time. Not sure where that puts me

Yes Joe.....goal totals were on for this round of games... so points there to be won....but no points have been allotted to anyone for being nearest to the 38 goal total.

Apologies Plym you caught me at a bad time. You are right but I'm not changing it now.

Apologies for missiong saturday - been busy
Northampton 0-3 Barnsley
Peterborough 2-1 Mansfield
Stockport 3-1 Port Vale
Including an appearance on the pitch... not during the game I should add in case who weren't there imagine you came on as a late substitute. I bet you would have if asked though!

Thats ok.....I only noticed because I was nearest and my score should have been 11pts not the 8pts showing....your doing a good job.....disappointed that you thought I was being awkward....only interested because if Stevenage and Luton win.....we would probably end up 8th which would give me a bonus of 40pts.....so Musty would be in range.

PS......Hopefully your not still walking around at home wearing waders ?

SMH still to come.

There seem to be two dead certs in this mini-series.

Northampton (who Argyle visit on Saturday) have taken just 1 point from their last 6 home games. Astonishingly, their away record is worse - nul points from 6 games.

The Port Vale manager didn't really raise a battle-cry after they lost to 10 man Argyle on Saturday even though Argyle were one man down for 85 minutes.

I can't see that raising spirits. Hardly Shakespeare's Henry V is it?

simple maths, I need Plymouth to win and Luton and or Stevenage to lose or draw or i get 16 more points than you (no way that is happening) in the final matches, if neither happens the title is all yours :)

Musty it would be an injustice if you didn't win now.....having topped the chart for quite awhile.....but knowing Argyle they might let you down.

A helicopter is hovering over Mutley - it's probably looking for that bloke who suggested the Stockport v Port Vale match was a foregone conclusion. It does put Argyle's performance on Saturday into an even better light though.

Musty topped the scores (again) but it's really best of a bad bunch this time around. He was the only one to forecast a draw at Peterborough.
