Just watched the extended highlights. Maybe I did them a dis-service when I said 'one dimensional' in an earlier post. They obviously want to play the ball on the ground and through the lines, but some of the direct play was very good. Not just hoofing it up field, but long balls into space. The long Fish pass and the Kpakio lob were great. Salech now getting more of the service he needs. He missed a few chances, though a couple were good stops by their keeper to be fair. I was surprised when they said he had 8 goals for the season. Not a bad ratio. It does look as if the understanding between players is growing. Lots of talking and pointing as to where a player wants a ball played. Most players achieving or exceeding what was expected. Osho is perhaps the once exception, though as I said on another thread, a few yet to hit their straps. Still feels like there is more to come.
