We have been so poor. I know we've had 2 cleared off the line but aside from that it's been dreadful.
Well, for the first time this season, I actually am beginning to think we could go down..... This has been so, so poor. Only O'Dowda and to a lesser degree Robertson come out of this with any kind of credit for my money...
I optimistically thought we might scrape a 0-0 but it was misplaced. A replica of QPR - neither opponent had won away, we go 1 down, huff and puff for a bit then concede at the death due to a defensive howler. Our lack of pace, height, tempo, ability to keep possession from throw in’s, and the insistence of slow build up from goal kicks plus the inability to play on the front foot in the opposition half and total lack of decent attacking options is going to cost us this season unless there’s a drastic change in the squad. If by chance we do survive there has to be a fundamental change all round next season. Can’t wait for the Sheff U game
What is going on with these CCFC's??? Baggies 2 shots -2 goals, looks like a race to the botttom butts
To be fair you just needed to be organised and take one of your chances. We were so far off where we were just a few weeks ago and were just devoid of ideas and any kind of control. Your boys, despite being solid but unspectacular were good for the victory. Safe journey back to you and the travelling fans
That co commentator was Andy Walker who usually does the games in Scotland and the North of England. He was really getting on my tits with his comments on our players but to be honest, but as the game went on, I realised he was saying all the right things about how awful we were. We’re in a bad place and we’ll be lucky to stay up this season.
It’s been worrying for too long now. We scraped safety 2 seasons back, endured a torrid season last one and this current one is developing into devastation. How bad can it get if Ralls is coming on to salvage a game? I’d like to see him in a foot race with Robinson and Chambers; it’d probably be a dead heat. Anyone see any light at the end of the tunnel? There may be possibly be a glimmer though if we recruit well in early January.
But who will want to come to us? The press have talked about promising youngsters on loan from Prem clubs like Dramah, Doyle, Philogene etc were. They won't touch us with a bargepole. I really don't know where we go from here.
And he looked totally out of his depth. It didn't help him coming on in a struggling side but apart from one good cross he added nothing else.
Shocking performance. Riza took our best player on the park off after an hour to bring Ralls on. O'Dowda apart and maybe El Ghazi for half an hour, those were an extremely poor performances from all concerned. I'm waiting for someone to say not to worry because we've got a game in hand.
He did look out of his depth but why not try him from the start for one or two games and see what he’s made of. He can be hooked if not up to it but at least it gives us an alternative to the crass we offered last night, and let’s face it, we’re getting a bit desperate.
If you're at the top of the table and winning, a game in hand is fine. If you're at the bottom of the table and losing, it's points on the board that are key.
https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...kCopy&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebar Well, at least Omer agrees with us and isn't ducking the criticism or making excuses. The players really do have to take a very long, hard look at themselves. I don't know if Robbo's injuries are back/niggling again but he was woeful last night. Colwill was just as bad. Both centre backs looked shaky all night. Meite ran around a lot and tried to put himself about a bit but was back to the same end product (or lack of). I just can't understand how we've gone so backwards again so quickly.... Up until the last few weeks the performances under Riza have been far better, even in defeat you could at least see what we were trying to do. Last night was right up there for me with some of the worst performances I've seen in years. Definitely a glass half empty day for me today.
A big worry as we head towards the Jan window will be what player in his right mind would want to join a club likely to be playing League One next season.

Well here is my Tuppence worth, have been a season ticket holder for the best part of 40 years. Since attending my first match with my Dad in the 60's where Toshack scored a first half hat-trick against Hull i was hooked and have considered myself as a true City supporter. Last night where our true support turned out, about 9k of us there to watch that utter shyte i am now considering chucking my rather expensive season ticket in the bin to preserve my mental health, left on 65 minutes as we could not stand any more. What is noticeable was the loyal support were there last night, and others who call them supporters (exception of some of the Valley's support, due to public transport) i can say our fan base is now shot to bits, why cant the Cardiff residents support our club, which in all essence never has. We have always relied on support from out of the City limits, which is now dwindling at a fast rate. The management of the club is poor with no direction. As for the team manager and first team coaching staff are inept and clueless, there are no tactics as such and there were a lot of headless chickens out there yesterday evening and we were playing a very very poor team. Some our players do not deserve to be on the field. We cannot even take a throw in, in a timely fashion which is down to the coach. We have no midfield or strikers. We will get relegated this year and we will struggle in league 1 (3rd division) and as representative of the Capital City of Wales we are not worthy of playing at any level at the moment. Well i am off to sponsor the Martyrs over the Christmas period and give them some support, at least your guaranteed to watch a team that tries. I will not be sponsoring Cardiff City until something at board level is sorted out and will take my business sponsorship elsewhere. Merry Christmas to you all.
A lot of supporters are thinking the same way. I've already deliberately missed (that's not through unavoidable reasons) more City home games this season than the past 20 years combined.
