I notice I didn't nominate a Super Match. Apologies. I'm going for Argyle v Stoke City, not because it's Argyle but because it's a vital game to both teams trying to avoid sliding into the relegation places. Their recent record is a little better than ours but we're quite strong at home.

This is going to be a quandary for those who never put Argyle down to lose, I shall stick to my principles. Sorry to spring this on you so late, especially with double points on offer! :emoticon-0130-devil

High levels of unanimity this week I think combined with a strong tilt towards home wins. Eight of the twelve games have 6 or more of the 8 of us going for the same outcome.

    upload_2023-12-1_15-4-59.png

Jokers are well spread. Only a home win for Ipswich and away win for Blackburn have 2 played on them. Plym's in for 24 points from the Argyle game: 3 for a correct score, doubled for double points, doubled for a joker and doubled for the Super Match. I hope he gets the lot as I'll take a 2-0 win!

Good luck to you all, thanks for the timely submissions and sorry about the late Super Match.

QPR winning is not a good result for us....now only 3pts above the drop zone....a win tomorrow even more important.....more pressure.

This round ended as it started: with a surprise (to most of us): Norwich winning at Bristol City. Only Lyndhurst predicted that, and he got the score right too.

There were three 12 point scores, including two, for Away and Musty, on the Argyle game. SMH also got a twelve on Southampton beating Cardiff.

Allowing for the double points, most of us did better than in recent weeks, when single digit totals have been the norm.

Lyndhurst got the goal time: 4 minutes off the actual 28 minutes. Musty and I were 5 minutes off! I'm taking my own stop watch next time!

With the second best score of 28, Away in BC regained top spot. Lyndhurst's bumper score moved him ahead of Joe.

There's a bit of a rest now until Friday at 8pm.

I'm going for Stoke City v Sheffield Wednesday as the Super Match. Stoke are 11 points clear of Wednesday but have been on a poor run with three defeats in a row. Wednesday though had a shock win against Blackburn on Saturday. Good luck with that.

    Well, that's brave Plym.

Joker on a draw, all or nothing, a 0-0 forecast for Argyle (when did we last have a 0-0 and are we going to get a clean sheet at the division's highest scorers?) and therefore no goal time. I'll put you down for 999 minutes: my model isn't built for that!
