Have to say only one team in the second half looked interested. City were dreadful second half which isn’t surprising given Bulut inexplicably brought on that useless Djedjhu or whatever his name is. He shouldn’t be seen in the first team again.
Disappointing result but not the end of the world. I think Erol is provisionally making sure about who can leave at the end of the season. I think the fact that the kids aren't getting much game time with the first team just indicates he'll be trying to hang on to them. I'm glad he hasn't blooded them with the current seniors. This probably belongs on the Future thread but I think Erol on the whole has done well with what he's been given. Now for the difficult bit in convincing Tan that the manager knows far more about football than the owner. Anyway, well done to the heroic travelling support again. The second half display showed no effort, no enthusiasm, total indifference and irrespective of being safe, I expected more after a half decent first half when we should have been at least level. The manager has spoken out about his disgust at the second half performance and I concur; this being on the beach attitude is not acceptable.
