I'm intrigued notDistant.....is it not possible to put your Argyle match goal time in the same column as you have the joker ?.....it looks at first as if you have forgotten to put it into your prediction.

Of course not: they're spreadsheet cells: can't mix calculations with text. I only type "ips" in once to fill in "Ipswich Town" wherever it appears. You don't think I type all that lot in every week do you? That's too much like hard work. That's how I got Shrewsbury (shr) mixed up with Sheffield Wednesday (she). Three characters is normally enough, although this year we have Portsmouth (por) and Port Vale (pov) which is a potential banana skin.

Actually, now you mention it, not being very imaginative. I use a "J" in each person's forecast to calculate any Joker points.. I don't need to type that "Joker" just for that bit I post here at all, silly me.

Edit: Actually, that's not true, you can mix formulae with text by a process called concatenation, but it's a bitch to do.

 

Spread sheets, concatenation, mix formulae..........shut up you techno tart and learn to speak proper English.
