Well that was a successful day. Top today of course was plymborn who takes this seasons crown to go with it. He scored 30 points. Next with 26 was BC followed by Sensible on 18. Notdistant thanks to nearest goal time managed 15. There were then three people on 14 each. Lyndie and Musty were two and Joe was the third. However, Joe got the final position spot on and has received his 50 extra points for that also. SMH obviously gave up at the last fence and failed to post.

Plymborn - 666 (Sign of the devil)
    Lyndie - 596
    Joe - 593
    AWAYINBC - 592
    Notdistant - 580
    Musty - 570
    SMH - 559
    Sensible - 531

Thank you gentlemen. I was only last to save cries of fix. I kept my proper predictions to myself and can now tell you that I would have scored 942 if I had put them on here. I look forward to the next pressed person to run the show.........erm I mean volunteer.

Sorry I missed the last set of predictions. I do have a valid excuse as was admitted to hospital. Was discharged late this afternoon and am on the mend.

It wasn't that score of 5 - 0 against Hull was it? Anyway hope it's not too serious and you get well soonest.

I that means you are un-volunteering Sensible (or deserting as some might call it), I think it's about time I took my turn, unless anyone else has a burning desire.

Sensible reduced the number of points for the half season and full season league table predictions and I agree with that. It may look like we're wildly guessing all the time but a wild stab at league position 4 and 8 months hence shouldn't completely undo the success of weekly results forecasts (or failure in my case).

The FA Cup rounds do my head in and I'd probably try to focus on matches between teams that are at least in the same league with a table to look at or where a "bigger" club looks to be in jeopardy.... ones that look easy or interesting if you see what I mean.
