I disagree, just because we don't know about them it does not mean they are not there. If you spent 3 weeks researching I'm sure even we could find a few candidates.
But don't you think that every other team looking to change manager would have done a similar trawl and really the ones that have been appointed are either not surprising (e.g. Poyet at Sunderland) or not worthy of great consideration (e.g. West Brom or Fulham's latest appointments) - there are no real hidden gems Carrubah. In my opinion.
Bit off topic but I saw Leroy Fer in Sainsburys Longwater last night. Didn't have the guts to speak to him but boy he looked cool.
Above us doesn't mean he's not prepared to take it. The PL is surprisingly attractive and we can afford to pay more. Going on previous clubs and experience, Lennon probably qualifies as "above us", but I don't hear anyone shooting this down. I just heard a rumour about Bielsa, that was all. Definitely just a rumour. All I am saying is I'd be less surprised than most. And Munky's right, my name is not Shirley.
So I think you have just argued with yourself there, there is no magical solution or it would have been found. Finito!
Any fool can win the Scottish Premier League managing Celtic! Keeping Norwich in the Championship would be the biggest test of Lennon's Managerial career!
I don't think Lennon's above us at all. Besides, he's nothing when compared to Bielsa. Typical Shirley.
All this confusing chat has led me to this eminent Norfolkian: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Shirley,_13th_Earl_Ferrers
