Just got back from a long weekend in London, hence no match thread on Saturday ! What a lousy result - yet another kick in the teeth for the fans. Our so called "tight defence" concede five goals. Why don't we ever go on the attack away from home ? Agree, that RB doesn't appear to have the ability to motivate the players, or it certainly seems that way. Must win Tuesday evening, but how will the players react after Saturday's very poor performance ?
Well after Barker's pre-match comments, let alone his post-match comments, I can't see the players being enthusiastic, inspired, motivated and up-for-it!
These palyers are still being paid more than most of us here, so they should be up for it, regardless of RB's words of wisdom!
Spot on Ides of March - I wouldn't mind being on a grand a week. Mind you, Wayne Rooney's reputed £300,000 p.w. would be nicer !
