It seems like you were fired as Mod after a Dinner Party with @ForestHillBilly Is this an invite that I also need to be wary of ?
Either I know nothing about football [quite possible] else this defence isn't good enough to even get us in the Play Offs this season. Starting Back 5: Steer - very average. Makes @baraettmattesvensson look like Peter Crouch. Solly - injury prone Page - injury prone Pearce - injury prone Bauer - injury prone.
That was infuriating. Coming from behind twice, but the overall impression after conceding five goals is that the defence plus maybe the midfield is in need of an overhall. I thought in august we had a light squad, but recent games suggested we could play through the doubts. But the number of times late goals have changed our recent results suggested we may have a problema at the back, and the fact we scored three away yesterday and got tanked may be the point where it all becomes real. It's only one defeat, and maybe we shouldn't get too depressed, but the fears about the squad may now be bearing fruit.
Bielik - injury prone Fosu- injury prone Igor- injury prone JFC - injured Clarke- injury prone Reeves- injury prone
On the plus side, it seems Aribo played a blinder. Roland should get a decent price for him in January, which may delay any more staff cuts, and we may be able to afford a loanee to replace him, someone like Andrew Crofts.
Not this season, he broke his leg in two places a few weeks ago. Think he is on loan with Luton, not sure?
The Irish lad, he didn't want to join us because he wanted to stay in the Championship wasn't it? but the Leeds people just wanted him out because he was cr@p?
https://www.skysports.com/football/scunthorpe-vs-charlton/393224 highlights here. i'd have thought that a decent keeper would have saved 3 or 4 of the non penalty goals. basically a better shot stopper. wasnt steer only selected based upon his distribution?
Deano's distribution was not great but he kept us in the premiership for the first couple of seasons.
