Bart, you stick to what you like, me, I'll keep battling to try and finish this piece of petit point. And on the subject of the worst thread ever, it's GOT to be the 60/40 Angora/Silver yarn I'm using - keep away from it peeps - it's GHAAAAASSSSTLY!!

You are right - I do go overboard sometimes, when I get wound up.
Some of my mates are mags, and I just have to bite my lip sometimes.
I will agree that I don't hate all of them - just most of them.
The ones that come on our board (sorry most of them) are out and out tossers.

I think it also depends how you were brought up, my mams side are mags, my dads side are from Sunderland, i was pushed from one to the other when i was younger (or at least attempted to be pushed) but i have always choose Sunderland, mind you that was when both were pretty dire, if i had been born 20 years later, and the toon were going great guns, I may very well have been a mag now (hate to think it never mind write it, but its a posibility, when you are young you are easily led). I also lived in Blyth for 30 years, which is primarily mags, so i did sort of go against the norm so to speak.
What really gets on my goat though is when we take the piss out of them and say they are going down, when we are only 2 points ahead of them, and as we all know, things can come back to bite you in the ass. ok when they are down, or we are safe, do it, but not when both are on a bad run and the possibility is still there for us to plummet (however small a possiblity that is).

Nothing wrong with having a bit of friendly debate or even conversation without the insults and hate, although sometimes Iam a fan of the insults and hate
