The point you seem to be missing is that we'd argue he was interfering with play if he'd been on the subs bench This kind of thing isn't based on logic and it's just hot air anyway, the ref made the decision and it's over. The player was definitely offside, the rest is just one man's interpretation isn't it?
JPF- for him to not actively interfer the player would stand still doing nothing. Gouffran moves out of the way allowing to ball to continue on its path. Thus interferring. It is the fault of where the ball went that made Gouffran offside, not the fact of his position relative to other players. Unusual and 'harsh' but logically, it is offside.
He was standing in very close proximity to the keeper, and then ducked out of the way of the ball last second to allow the ball to pass him and into the net...of course he was interfering with play, and I really can't see what all the fuss is about..Jesus Christ: if the Skunks had some of our crap decisions they might actually have something to moan about..
The poor bastard only scores once every 10 years, he hits a screamer against City and it's chalked out for nowt. Joe Hart was nowhere near it, let's not make excuses for that little peak-too-soon, pathetic, ****er (personal experience). He's a terrible 'keeper and he wouldn't have saved that if he had 100 chances. I think it's fair to say, City would have probably upped it a gear if necessary, they seemed to be happy to sit back and counter Newcastle and the plan worked. I'd expect they'd have won no matter what happened with that decision.
I agree Terry, the goal should have stood. It didn't though, and, I personally find that hilarious. Disagree with you about Hart though, he's been fantastic over the last couple of years. He's made errors this season, but still a world class keeper!
That's Understandable considering who you support, I'd have preferred if it stood! As for Hart, I can't agree with anybody who say's he's class never mind world class. He had one good season when they won the league, last season and this season he's been inconsistent and his shot stopping has gone to pot. I also don't like him on a personal level. It's a bit like if you maybe wouldn't rate Cabaye, if you know what I mean.
I have quoted myself to explain to you that I was talking only about ANDY GRAY not you or anyone on this forum you ****ing imbecile. You may need to learn to read as your second language is obviously a little rusty
LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR "The mags seem to forget that Cabaye should've had a second yellow and Mbiwa should definitely have gone for an horrendous foul which has injured a fellow countryman. They complained about McManaman and De Jong - this was just as bad and far more calculated than either of those yet they forget that he only got a yellow card" Post 92. Take that, IMBECILE Please don't hesitate to ask if you ever need help looking for your other brain-cell
I'll quote it for you, just in case you try to deny it I'm so glad I've got the week off to enjoy that... thank you sir
