If they do get to away games then its digusting. Everyone prosecuted from that day was given a football banning order. The club should make sure they never get tickets during that time.
It’s hard because 98% of fans say it went too far and wouldn’t have any involvement in the throwing object at the bus. Gonna get idiots everywhere unfortunately. Plenty’s been said on our board about the route from locals to the area and what maybe should have been done to avoid it. I think the welcome of the bus with hostile atmosphere is brilliant, and if it was done with nothing being thrown then it really is amazing. Only have to look at the reception team got couple years back and it sets he atmosphere up from before the game even starts. Obviously biased but banning club from from Europe is stupid suggested. Not much Liverpool F.C. can do about people on the street and like others have said what’s stopping a group of rival fans going along and causing disruption in hope of getting a ban / points deduction. All that can can happen is police and lfc Work to figure out those bad eggs (excuse the pun) in the group and do something to prosecute them.
Agree that EUFA cannot punish the club for this as it is outside the area that the club has responsibility for. It is being policed by the police, rather than by stewards appointed by the club. The individuals concerned should of course be identified if possible and not only prosecuted but banned from matches.
