My money would be on him staying for the moment.

There doesn't seem to be the interest in him from other clubs that there was last season.

Having said that, he must be getting a bit hacked off after being sacrificed against Orient then not subsequently featuring.

I have to say though that his tendency to 'go missing' in games for long periods never improved, not even when he was scoring regularly.

Maybe CP wants to get fully rid of the negativity surrounding the squad from the last 4/5 years. Not saying he's negative, but he's probably the only one left.

Waggy is another of those who have fallen foul of the five subs rule. I think CP sees the likes of Waggy, Hayes and Evina as luxury substitutes and not integral to tactical cover for the starting eleven. It is a shame that we have some good players doing nothing - not even reserve team football to keep them match-fit.

I think you've got it spot on Ponders - If we were still able to select 7 subs then I reckon Waggy would be on the bench every week for sure.

They've gotta bring this rule back next season its blooming crazy (at least have it in the Championship)

Spot on Ponders. I'm not Waggy's greatest fan but he's squeezed out as a luxury if we only have 4 outfield subs.

Personally i think he shuld be on the bench he could be that real impact player
My bench for SUFC
Sullivan
Cort
Stephens
Waggy
Haynes

He's a bit unlucky to lose his place to Green, who has been a relative disappointment this season (when compared to other new signings like Taylor, Morro, Kermagant, Wiggins, Hollands)

I don't think Green has been disappointing. Inconsistent maybe but his crossing ability is way better than Waggy.

Powell said he wants 2 players for every position didn't he? Also said he sees Haynes as a striker and obviously sees Pritchard as a CM.

We'll probably see Pritchard used at RM during games when Green goes off, but think Waggy will come back in if Green can't start.

Then again if Powell thinks he can improve on Waggy because a better player has become available I'm sure henwould do it.

When Waggy is on his game he is too good for L1, however, when he decides that he wants to roll around on the ground going for freekicks he loses something and becomes far less effective.

The Leicester centre forward on Wednesday did the same thing. In the first half he spent most of the time on his arse and was no problem at all for our central defenders, in the second half he stayed on his feet and became a continual threat!

LESSON .....

Stay of your feet Waggy <ok>
