The SPL came out 17th in a FIFA world ranking - coming in below the Ecuadorian and South Korean premier leagues. You make some very good points. I avoid Scottish football at all costs. It doesn't deserve to be on TV when most teams can't even fill their grounds.

I really shouldn't rise to this, but I've got an easy afternoon on and can't help myself. I think FIFA's league ranking is probably as reliable as their International Rankings, where England are currently 6th (!) in the world. Above Portugal! Portugal have only got one player and you still cannae beat them in a tournament! Still, at least you have 'The Richest League In The World' TM - which is really, really exciting every game (like last weekend), has loads of great players and teams in it (like last weekend), and is really competitive and open for anyone to win (check the bookies). And why is it the richest? Cos you have more gullable twats per head of capita than anyone else in the world, all willing to pay Murdoch's Millions - possibly the most hated man in England. Answer me this who won the last match England played Scotland and why have Scottish managers won more titles than English? Scotland population 5million approx England 59million now compare our footballing stats and records in Europe and for a country that outnumbers us stupidly I'd say you weren't doing too great.
