When he left he was our top winger and arguably our best player. Now, I wouldn't see him getting into the starting 11. However, if the fee isn't too steep I would welcome him back.
I'd disagree as being our best player , the mangers' favourite meant he played/started more games than perhaps he should have.Routledge didn't get much game time because of it imo
Good thing Laudrup sent Sinclair packing or Routledge might not be the player he is now .... 5 million for Sinclair and Routledge playing great , couldnt have worked out better
I confess I don't know the figures but I'll be amazed if Sinclair wasn't on much much more up there than he was with us. City have a history of luring in players with big salaries then stockpiling them.
Figures quoted for Sinclair's wages range from between £35,000 to £40.000 per week , if any one care to do the maths he went for £7,000.000 so what his percentage of that he received for shining the bench is anyones guess
