A number of posters have been suggesting that we are about to sign Scott Parker!!I would rather we signed anybody than him!To me,to you sums up a very poor comedy-duo of yesteryear,and his style of play is that!!He can't pass a ball in a positive manner,and is a Newcastle reject to boot!!Chocolate fireguard and as much use as are some words that come to mind!Shi*e is the best word to describe him!
In honesty, he's a good player that would improve us but passed his best and not as dynamic as he used to be.
I've always rated him but he's not what we're looking for. He's perfect for spreading the play and stretching the opposition by maximising width. if we played with conventional wingers he'd be perfect. But we're playing with inside forwards so we'll play too narrow for parker to be of any effect. It's that pin point forward pass specialist we're looking for and that's not Parker.
Im.not his biggest fan but he's head.and shoulders above the likes of Cattermole Colback Larsson Vaughan and Gardner.

Loved a previous quote that said he was head and shoulders above a number of players....he'd have a job to be,he's only about five foot tall!!!
