    I did see him play for Liverpool in the 70's - and in the 60's for that matter - I simply didn't rate him as IMO there were others around who were better.

    I agree Bolton - he was good but by no means the best at that time - and he had a defence helping him - when he went to Spurs he was not helped in the same way - even the legendary Pat Jennings eventually looked poor - until he went to Arsenal
