I got into those stuart mcbride books...first few were a pale imitation of the ian rankin/rebus books - the last couple - shatter the bones and birthdays for the dead ( or something like - that have been superb ). Read some ian rankin and then The Wasp Factory and The Crow Road by iain banks and we may grant you a visa after independance

Aberdeen used to be the cleanest but has gone downhill dramatically recently. But to be fair nothing in Scotland compares to the ****tiness of the likes of Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester. Stinking aresholes of places.
